AOII Foundation Kick Off Appeal

We hired a new vendor for our direct mail in the summer of 2022 after our previous mail house went bankrupt. Because of the tight timing, I had about one week to create an appeal letter that would kick off our direct mail season for fiscal year 22-23 (July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023). I wrote this piece keeping in mind the values of all Alpha Omicron Pis (AOIIs), and the language I heard as a collegiate member.
The kick-off appeal was quite successful despite dropping a couple weeks later than normal. We matched our revenue for the previous year's kick off appeal which had more than three weeks longer to raise funds. I was extremely proud of this early success for FY22-23.
